Phyllis Elaine Neal (April 14, 1953 – January 31, 2026)
Phyllis Elaine Neal, 72, of Anna, Texas, passed away on January 31, 2026. She was born on April 14, 1953, to John Larry Brann and Jeanette Larue Brann in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Phyllis was a woman of deep faith who loved the Lord Jesus with all her heart. She was theheart of her family, with three children and four grandchildren. Affectionately known as "Nana,"she cherished her role as a mother and grandmother above all else. Whether she was cooking
for loved ones, gathering ideas from her favorite cooking shows, or taking her grandchildren onvacations. Phyllis ensured her family always felt celebrated and deeply loved. Phyllis lived to serve others and to share the good news of Christ. She was a faithful servant with the most caring heart. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she served tirelessly at Mosaic Christian Fellowship. Over the years, she taught Vacation Bible School, helped lead the Women's Ministry, poured her heart into leading the Church renovation project, and served as head of the Kitchen Ministry for 15 years, where she delighted in catering events and organizing fellowship meals. Phyllis extended her love for people into her career, dedicating 33 years to the insurance industry. She became a trusted expert in her field, and her customers and colleagues quickly became friends whom she supported and kept in her prayers.
She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and service that will continue through her children and grandchildren. Phyllis is survived by her mother, Jeanette Larue Brann; her children, Kevin Neal (Alicia), Bryan Neal (Mandy), and Bonnie Thomas (Shawn); and her beloved grandchildren, Brandon, Reilly, Brody, and Sadie. She is also survived by her brothers, Lawrence Alan Brann (Jack Johnson) and William Thomas Brann.
