Joyce Louise Peters, Age:78
Joyce Louise Peters was born in Edmond, Oklahoma on September 24, 1946, to Roy and Sarah Yoesting. She passed away peacefully on May 23, 2025, in McKinney, Texas at the age of 78. She married the love of her life, Edmond Lee Peters in 1963, and they were married for 61 years. They had three children: Roy Edmond (Pete), Michael Lee, and Matthew Scot.
Joyce was best known for being a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. Joyce is survived by her husband and sons along with her sisters, Maggie Rubrecht, Betty Kennedy, and Jackie Green; her son’s current/former spouses, Mark Spreitzer, Kristin Peters, Brittany Bigham, and Lisa Schuster; her grandsons Dalton Peters, Brody Peters, Ross Dusterhoft, and Preston Scott; and her granddaughters Haley Dusterhoft, Malie Faulkner, Kiele Faulker, Gracelyn Scott, and Emberlyn Peters.
Joyce was a kind and generous person who supported many charities. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Saint Jude’s Charity or the Shriners Children Hospital in her honor.
