Grady "Lynn" Endsley, Age:65
Grady “Lynn” Endsley passed away peacefully in McKinney, Texas, at the age of 65 on September 15, 2026.
Lynn was born on April 30, 1961, in Bonham, Texas, to Dean and Joquetta Taylor. Raised by Louis and Joquetta Endsley, Lynn spent his childhood between Ponca City and Tulsa, Oklahoma. Lynn attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College in Miami, Oklahoma. Lynn later attended and graduated from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma, in 1986 with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. While attending Oklahoma State, Lynn met the love of his life, Patricia. Lynn and Patricia later married on August 20th, 1988, in Waynoka, Oklahoma, and went on to have five children together.
Lynn’s career in engineering opened the door to a life of adventure. He had the opportunity to travel the world, but one of his greatest accomplishments was visiting all 50 states, something only a select few can say they’ve done. He especially enjoyed his multiple cross-country motorcycle adventures. Lynn also loved discovering new places with his wife, Patricia, creating memories together wherever their adventures took them. In recent years, they discovered a new love for cruises and enjoyed exploring new places together.
Lynn was a true jack of all trades who had a passion for fishing, golfing, road trips with his family, and, above all, cheering on his favorite football teams, the Oklahoma State Cowboys and Dallas Cowboys. He also always enjoyed a good game night of playing cards with his wife.
Above all, Lynn’s family was at the heart of his life. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who treasured the time he spent with the people he loved most. Lynn and Patricia shared a life full of love, laughter, and memories that they made together along the way. As a father, he was always there for his children, attending sporting events, awards, or important milestones, and he was always eager to teach a lesson. More than anything, Lynn loved being with his family and watching them grow. The love and devotion he had for those closest to him will be remembered always.
Lynn is survived by his wife, Patricia Endsley; his children, Kalyn Carter and her husband Adam of McKinney, Texas, Jared Endsley of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Connor Endsley and Erica Endsley, both of McKinney, Texas. He was an adored Grampy to his granddaughters, Saylor and Sutton, and was eagerly awaiting the arrival of his third granddaughter. Lynn is also survived by his brother, Jeffrey Endsley and his wife Martha, and sister Tami Newhart, all of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Lynn was preceded in death by his son, Nathaniel Endsley; his parents, Louis and Joquetta Endsley; and his grandparents, Johnny and Dalomi Harden and Grady and Lula Taylor.
A celebration of life to honor Lynn’s memory will be held for his family and friends on Sunday, October 4th, 2026. Lynn will be laid to rest alongside his son, Nathaniel, in Waynoka, Oklahoma.
