Kelly Marie Puskarich, 64, of Waxahachie, Texas, passed away at home on July 17, 2026, from ovarian cancer. She was born on December 15, 1961, in Dallas, Texas.

Kelly was preceded in death by her father, Frank Martin Puskarich; her mother, Mary Frances Karger; and her beloved daughter, Christie Maria Slayton.

She is survived by her four brothers, Michael, Frank, Joseph, and Christopher Puskarich; her sister, Kimberly Puskarich; and her two sons, Richard McDowell and Mike Shearin. She also leaves behind many extended family members, dear friends, and countless lives she touched throughout the years.

Kelly was the proud owner of Pink Ladies Cleaning, a business she built through hard work, determination, and a commitment to doing every job right. She believed in earning everything she had and never shied away from a challenge.

Those who knew Kelly knew she was tough as nails. She faced life's obstacles with grit, resilience, and a strength that inspired those around her. Yet beneath that tough exterior was a woman who loved life's little pleasures—especially having her nails done. She could work harder than almost anyone and still make time to enjoy feeling beautiful, a balance that perfectly reflected who she was.

Kelly loved fiercely, spoke her mind, and never pretended to be anything other than herself. Her family and friends will remember her strength, her determination, her sense of humor, and the unwavering love she had for those closest to her.

While her absence leaves an immeasurable void, her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her. Her family finds comfort in knowing that the lessons she taught through her courage, perseverance, and love will never be forgotten.
