It is with sad hearts that we share the news of the unexpected passing of Andrea Clay Paschal on May 23, 2026. Andrea was born in Dallas, TX,
on May 11, 1964, and went home to be with the Lord a few days past her 62nd birthday.
Andrea grew up in Dallas and graduated from Bryan Adams High School. She treasured her strong friendships that she maintained with a number of her high school friends. Andrea was a kind, compassionate, and thoughtful person who dearly loved her family and friends. She had a gift for making people feel remembered, appreciated, and valued. She was fun to be around, generous with her time and heart, and had a knack for thinking of special ways to honor friends on birthdays and other occasions.
Andrea and Mark shared a loving marriage since 2005. Over the past years, as Mark’s health declined, she demonstrated extraordinary devotion and commitment in seeing to his care. Her love, patience, and dedication were an example for all who knew her.
Andrea was a faithful and diligent worker throughout her life. She built a successful career as a paralegal, serving at a number of law firms over the years. She took great pride in her work and was known for her professionalism, dedication, and strong work ethic. Andrea earned the respect and admiration of both colleagues and clients throughout her career.
Andrea adored her family and was especially close to Matt, Ellie, and Katie, her nieces and nephew. She also loved the children in Mark’s family, making sure to remember birthdays, Christmases, and special occasions. Andrea is survived by her husband, Mark; her mother, Mary Clay of Rockwall; her sister and brother-in-law, Kerri and Rex Moses of Rockwall; her nephew and his wife, Matt and Kendra Moses of Rockwall; her niece, Ellie Moses of Dallas; and niece Katie Fisher and husband, Jake, of Denver, Colorado. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Jean Ann Paschal; brothers-in-law John Paschal and David Paschal of Kerens, Texas; and numerous dear cousins on both her side of the family and Mark’s, as well as many close friends.
