JoAnn Staab (nee Baumel), age 89 of Plano, Texas/West Chester, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 15, 2025 at home.

She was homemaker while her children we in school. JoAnn was always busy baking, sewing, pulling weeds in her garden or cleaning her house.

JoAnn was born on August 2, 1936 to Anna (nee Rohling) and Philip Baumel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Philip and Anna Baumel and beloved husband Nicholas L. Staab.

JoAnn is survived by children Lisa Sizemore and Laura (Lee) Latham, grandchildren Casey (Savannah) Latham, Andrew (Courtney) Latham, Ryin Sizemore and Nicole (Anthony) McQuinn; Greatgrandchildren Lucas Latham, Ellison Latham, Grayson Latham, Emma McQuinn and Levi McQuinn, as well as many loving family and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Hospital for children.
