Kathy Kennedy Hopple
Born January 23rd, 1952 Died March 7, 2026
Kathy was born in Cleveland, Texas and was the oldest of five sisters. She stayed in touch with her sisters and was always
willing to be the “big sis” anytime they needed her.
At the age of 58 she was diagnosed with breast cancer. After enduring an extensive invasive treatment of chemotherapy, she
survived the dreaded disease. She credited her survival to the love and support of her family. She was always able to keep a
very positive outlook on life.
Kathy was a very talented and accomplished musician. She was best known for her guitar playing and her vocals. Her most
recent group was a trio known as My Brave Love. This all female group performed throughout the greater Dallas-Ft Worth
area. This award-winning group was highlighted in several local publications. The trio produced their own original music on a
compact disc, Their songs are still being played throughout the world. Kathy was the last surviving member of the group.
Kathy was recently hospitalized with pulmonary problems, phenomena, and constant pain. She was fully aware that her
time on earth was limited and she chose to have the time she had left with her beloved family. She passed from this earth at her
home free of pain and surrounded by her loving family.
Kathy, a loving Mother is survived by her three children, Nathan, Wesley, and Holly. Her four sisters Victoria, Diana,
Carol, and Joy. As well her husband Gary, with whom she shared the last sixteen wonderfully years of marriage
