Rhonda Joyce Housewright Haught
Rhonda Haught, age 56, of Wylie, Texas, passed away at 10:20 p.m. of Friday, January,2, 2026 at Southwest transplant Alliance in Dallas, Tx.
Rhonda was born at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas on August 10th, 1969, to Joyce Housewright in the late hours, there has always been controversy she was born August 11th. So we just say she has two birthdays. Rhonda was raised by Joyce and Edger Housewright.
Rhonda was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, known for her deep passion for cooking and love for kids, family and animals. In the midst of profound grief, may her family and friends find solace in Rhonda’s decision to become an donor. By doing so Rhonda helped save two people’s lives with her kidneys and liver and contributing to many more gifts. Her final gift of life will allow others to experience birthdays, holidays, and the simple joys she cherished.
She loved god with all her heart, she enjoyed doing diamond art, she loved red cardinals and the color red.
Rhonda is survived by; her Mother- Joyce Housewright
Brother- Ronnie and his wife Heather Housewright and their children Christopher “Cj” Carrington; his daughter Maddie Carrington, Katelyn Carrington, & Macie Young.
Sister- Brittney Housewright and her children; Isabelle Brown, & Xander Rosier.
And so many others; Aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and lots of cousins.
Rhonda was preceded in death by : her Beloved husband Richard Haught, Father Edger Housewright, Aunt Rachael Sasnett, Uncle Robert Daniel Sullivent, Uncle Mark Lee Sullivent, Grandfather Luther C , Sullivent and Grandmother Edna Pauline Sullivent, cousin Debra Salters
