Jack Arthur Pillow was born on July 3, 1945, in Childress, Texas, to Weldon and Mary Evelyn Blake. Later in life, he was adopted by John and Flossie Pillow. Jack's family played a significant role throughout his life, shaping the man he became.
Jack peacefully returned home to his Lord and Savior on November 30, 2025, at 4:21 PM, surrounded by his wife and family. He was preceded in death by his biological parents, Weldon and Mary Evelyn Blake, his adoptive parents, John and Flossie Pillow, and his brother, John David Pillow.
Jack is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years, Odieth Pillow, his son John Pillow and daughter-in-law Angela Pillow, and his grandchildren Ashley, Trevor, and Jack. He also leaves behind his siblings: Eddie (Sharon), Linda (Eddie), Jim (Leslie), Cindy (Dennis), Brenda, Victor (Wendy) and Marty (Craig), along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Jack served his country honorably in the Army. He achieved academic success, graduating from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
Jack enjoyed playing pool and chess with family and friends. He was a talented writer, having published a poem in the military newspaper and authored two books: "Childress County Cemetery" and "Delta Delta Delta."
