Jeff was such a sweet, loving, kind, and overall good human being. He was Mom’s golden boy child after three girls. I will miss my baby brother. Rest in peace and without pain. Prayers to all who knew and loved him.

Childhood friend from the neighborhood Jackson , Mississippi
I started grade school at Florence Black Elementary in 3rd grade. Jeff & I were in many of the same classes (“Homeroom!”) up through high school. I saw him often around our neighborhood. We were kids of the ‘80’s, free to ride our bikes & just roam with our friends. My memories of Jeff are really good & really special to me. He was always so nice. He never made fun of or was mean to others. And boy was he funny. I specifically remember he would frequently get reprimanded by Ms. Willingham in 6th grade—for his humor & antics. Over the years, my older brother has kept in touch with Jessica. So he always updated me as to how Jeff was doing & what he was up to. The other night, I told my mom that I’ve always felt a connection to Jeff, even if he didn’t know it. I’m sending my condolences to Jessica, Jeff’s wife & daughter and all the rest of the family. I am sad I never let Jeff know how much our childhood connection means to me. With love, Rachel

Sincere condolences to the family and anyone who was close to him. He was a dear friend to me that I had the pleasure of meeting while transitioning to Texas. We always stayed in touch even after working together for more than a decade. His fishing stories and endeavors that I had the opportunity to hear and join him in were always a bright experience. He was a pleasure to be around and will be missed beyond words.

My heart is broken right now for there are no words I can say to make it feel better. You will be so very much missed here in this earth but you are where you needed to be. We will see each other again one day brother. Till then rest in peace and just remember I will always love you!!

I have been struggling to find the right words to say just how much my little brother meant to me. He was sweet, sincere, sensitive, funny, witty, faithful, loving & some days...a pain in the butt. He loved, loved, loved his WHOLE family & ALL his friends with his whole heart *unconditionally *. He meant everything to me...the world was just a better place with him in it & I will miss him so, so much. Rest easy & in peace little brother. I hope the fish are biting & your team always wins. Love you always, Charlie
