James “Jim” Malford Benat, 87, of Frisco Texas, passed away peacefully, surrounded by Loving family members on August 24th, 2025, at Texas Health Hospital Frisco. Jim leaves behind his devoted companion Juanita Morris, Daughter Carrie (Willie) Waite, Son Brad (Marissa) Benat, Grandchildren Caroline (Spencer) Smith, Sophia Benat, and a host of beloved cousins along with friends too numerous to list. His two best friends growing up were his cousins, Ronnie Ray and Madelyn William-Gauld.

Jim proudly served in the Army with commitment and integrity before establishing a distinguished career as a Texas Realtor. He earned recognition for outstanding sales performance and consistently demonstrated thorough professionalism and client-focused service.

Jim was known for his kind spirit, boundless generosity. He had a unique talent for forging friendships wherever he went. Always ready with a joke, Jim often orchestrated family pranks that kept everyone smiling. His love for nature was evident in his delight for planting caladiums each spring and found happiness in hunting and fishing. He cherished every moment spent outdoors, embracing the tranquility and adventure that nature offered.
