Theodore Henry Hoisington January 26, 1944 – August 1, 2025
Theodore Henry Hoisington, known to all as "Ted," passed away on August 1, 2025. Born on January 26, 1944, in Springfield, Vermont, Ted lived a full and meaningful life marked by his faith in the Lord, love of learning, and sense of humor. He was dedicated to both his family and community.
Ted was married to Marilyn Hoisington, and though preceded in death by his beloved son, Grant Hoisington, and grandson, Holden Stephens, he leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter in his surviving family. Ted is survived by his wife Marilyn; sisters Pat Morgan and husband Brad; Kathy La Roche and husband George; stepchildren, Tabatha Stephens and husband Bobby; Bart Slaughter and wife, Laura; and Blake Slaughter and wife, Amanda. He was also the proud grandfather of Shiloh, Piper, Rory, and Charles.
A proud alumnus of the University of Oklahoma, Ted earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, which he was able to pursue thanks to the G.I. Bill following his four years of service in the United States Air Force.
Ted’s contributions to his community were significant. He served as president of the Rockwall Rotary and the Rockwall Rotary Foundation and was a member at Lake Pointe Church. He was also involved in the Wardell Archibald Life Group, friendships there touched many lives. In his professional life, Ted was the founder of TH Enterprises, a venture serving Councils of Governments and businesses around the country.
A memorial service to celebrate Ted’s life will be held at Lake Pointe Church in the Chapel on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Helping Hands of Rockwall County in Ted’s honor.

I’m so sorry to hear of Ted’s passing. I worked for Ted for 20 years and we developed an incredible relationship during that time. I always admired his positivity and technical expertise, as well as his willingness to learn new skills. He was a consummate salesman and always had a joke or story to break the ice with new clients. He will be greatly missed by many people.
