Harry Arthur Reninger, 70, of The Colony, Texas passed away on April 21st of 2025. Harry was born in Eau Claire, WI on March 11th, 1955 to Evelyn McMorris Reninger and Robert Reninger. Harry graduated from Memorial High School in Eau Claire in 1973, serving as his Senior Class President. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Madison University in 1977.
Over the next 45 years, Harry enjoyed a work life which took him all over the world. He held 21 jobs throughout the years and lived in more than 28 homes across the globe. New York, Seattle, California, Amsterdam, Colorado, and North Carolina were just a few of the many places he called home over the years. Harry’s final position was in Dallas, Texas working for Dealerwing. He loved his colleagues there and credits Dealerwing for saving his life. Harry had his son, Chase, move in to help him with his book of business and was grooming him to take it all over. Before his passing, Harry had just retired from Dealerwing and was planning to move to Hot Springs Arkansas, where he had just purchased a property in a beautiful retirement community.
Harry was married to Marjorie Breedlove of Oxnard, CA, and together they welcomed two sons, Chase and Conner, whom Harry deeply loved and cherished.
Harry was married a second time to Jennifer and spoke fondly of their years together. Jennifer and her daughter Pink were both very special to him.
Harry was a lover of sports, go Packers! He was an avid golfer and never hesitated to talk about his love of being on the golf course to any who would listen. He took his competitive nature to the backgammon board as well, enjoying ongoing tournaments with his son Chase.
Harry never met a stranger and is remembered by all he encountered for his joyful, outgoing and personable nature. To those who knew him best, he will be remembered for his deep and unconditional love for his two sons and two beautiful granddaughters. The past several years of his life, Harry lived with his granddaughters and he often spoke of how much he treasured that time. Harry was the best father a son could ask for, the best friend anyone could hope to find, and the best Grandpa. He will be so sorely missed. Harry also had a love for animals including his small companion dog, Daisy.
Harry will be deeply missed and has left many longing for the time they can meet again.
Harry is preceded in death by his father, Robert Reninger and his mother, Evelyn Reninger. Harry is survived by two sons, Chase Reninger of The Colony, TX and Connor Reninger of The Colony, TX; and two granddaughters Violette and Chloe Reninger.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 10th 2025 at Lakeway Baptist Church in The Colony, Texas. The service will begin at 1:00 PM.
