Angela “Christy” Christine Grodin

October 9, 1952 – April 8, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce that Angela “Christy” Christine Grodin entered eternal rest, discovered on April 8, 2025, at the age of 72, in Dallas, Texas.

Born on October 9, 1952, Christy was a devoted mother, a loving sister, and a treasured neighbor and friend. She will be remembered for her outspoken strength, her kind and compassionate heart, and her deep love for her family and community. Christy touched many lives with her warmth, her smile, and her humorous spirit.

She is survived by her daughter, Breana Grodin, and her son, Eric Slama. She also leaves behind her two brothers, Bill Fry III and Lindsey Fry, her mother, Betty Gerfen, and her beloved dog, Lucy. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will continue to shine through the love she gave and the life she lived.

Christy is preceded in death by her beloved son, Michael Grodin; her father, William Fry Jr.; and her former husbands, Ricky Slama and Dan McGuire. We take comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her loved ones in heaven, embraced by peace and everlasting love.
