Marc Steven Malouf (1951–2025)

Marc Steven Malouf, age 73, of Carrollton, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025, after a courageous battle with colon cancer.

Born in 1951, Marc was a proud graduate of Northeastern Oklahoma State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He spent much of his early years enjoying life around the lakes in northeast Oklahoma. Many summers were spent with his grandparents and cousins at a cabin on Lake Tenkiller. Marc had a deep love for the water, enjoying fishing and boating and teaching diving at the marina. His time at the lake was always a source of joy for him.

Professionally, Marc began his jewelry career at Zale’s in Dallas, Texas, and would go on to manage several stores before joining his father in a small jewelry business called Bema. It was a very successful business catering to many clients that preferred a more personal touch. After closing Bema in 2021, Marc found new fulfillment managing and working on rental properties. His strong work ethic and dedication to everything he did were evident in both his career and personal life.

Marc's passion for adventure extended beyond his professional life. He was an enthusiast of flying quadcopters, spending many hours capturing aerial views. He also had a deep love for music and enjoyed singing, playing the piano and guitar in his free time, and sharing his talent with those around him.

A committed volunteer, Marc served as an adult leader for Boy Scout Troop 876 in Carrollton, Texas. He attended numerous campouts and summer camps, where he inspired generations of young Scouts with his knowledge of the outdoors and his warm, caring nature.

Marc’s greatest joy, however, was his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth, and his son, Jonathan. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Jo Malouf, his father, Buddy “BJ” Malouf, and his sister, Leah Fitch. His legacy of kindness, adventure, and love for life will live on in those who were fortunate to know him.
