Vivian Price Bundy was born June 3, 1985 in Shawnee, Ok. She passed away in Sachse, Tx on February 27th, 2025. She was 39 years old.
Vivian was raised in Chandler, Tx. She was big sis to three sisters and one brother. She was the leader of the pack some would say. Vivian was very protective of her siblings, if you messed with them you would have to deal with her. She was always there for her family.
Vivian graduated Brownsboro High School in 2003. She moved to Wylie, Tx and worked at Wylie Northeast Water Supply.
In 2007 Vivian became a mother to a baby boy, Slatyn Swade. She was a stay at home mom attending to his every need.
Vivian made lots of trips back home to East Tx to visit and attend family functions. One of her favorite was when family and friends would get together for poker night at her parent’s house. You could always hear her bust out laughing when during the game her Pappy would say he had a “moffagator” (or a great hand).
She loved shopping trips to Canton Trade Days and Black Friday shopping with her mom.
Vivian’s most favorite vacation spot was at the beach with family soaking up the sun.
Vivian was back in the workforce as General Manager at Planet Tan in Addison, Tx until she had her baby daughter Savery Shy. She always had Savery dolled up and never left the house without putting a huge bow on Savery’s head, whether Savery kept them on or not.
As her children grew she made sure to put them in as many sports activities as possible. Always “that mom” on the sidelines giving constructive criticism where needed and most of all her encouragement, praise and love.
You could find Vivian and the kids at D Bat batting cages, improving their batting skills, at the Recreation Center working on their free throws and at all of the family friendly events in downtown Wylie.
Vivian loved going to Six Flags with family and friends. She loved riding the scariest roller coasters and rides, often scaring the wits out of Slatyn.
Vivian was a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan. Her and her dad would continually have on going bets during a Cowboys vs Steelers game. She also took after her dad with her love of crawfish. When he would visit she would always show him to a new crawfish buffet spot in the DFW.
In 2019 Vivian took on a new career for Chrysler Capital as a credit analyst. While working at home remotely she was able to be there for her children after school and chauffeur them to their activities, one of which she was a coach for Savery’s volleyball team.
Slatyn and Savery being persistent convinced their mom into adding a addition to their family of three. So Vivian got them a french bulldog, Tux. Or Tuxipoo as Vivian called him. Vivian was constantly sending funny videos, and pictures of Tux and he became her closest companion.
Vivian’s quote:
I am proud of many things in life but nothing beats being a mother.
Vivian is preceded in death by her sister Kerina Bundy, grandparents , Cleve and Barbara Bundy and grandparents Jon and Carla Preston.
Surviving family members are her children Slatyn and Savery Sebring of Sachse, Tx, parents Valton and Michele Bundy of Texhoma, Tx, nephew Madden Martin of Texhoma, Tx, brother Josten Bundy of Texhoma, Tx, sister and spouse Nathan and Valene Jordan and their children Livia and Lathan of Edom, Tx, sister and spouse Ricky Alverez and Venesa Bundy and their children Kristen, RJ, Keznee and Aymri. It breaks my heart for the Bundy family to lose yet another child/sister. I lived down the road from Vivian in Wildewood, when we were in elementary school and middle/jr. high, but I moved away in Jr. high but, I still remember how goofy and loving Vivian was. She was definitely a one of a kind person and she is going to be greatly missed. Her children are in my thoughts and prayers as they try to navigate through life without her, as well as her other family members. May you rest in peace Vivian until we can all see you again.

Vivian spent many nights at our home while growing up as my daughter Ashley’s best friend. I pray for her children and I hope they know what a special person she was. Love you Vivian and I’m glad you were a part of our lives.
