Pamela Showalter Pierson, age 69, of Plano, Texas passed away peacefully on Monday, January 20, 2025 at her home.

Pamela was born December 11, 1955 in Lexington, Virginia, the daughter of William Maple Showalter Jr. and Marian Laverne McManamay Showalter. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be greatly missed by everyone.

Remaining to cherish Pam’s memory are her husband Don Pierson, son Matthew Pierson (Jennifer), grandchildren Evangeline and Beckett Pierson, and brother Joseph Showalter (Tina), close family friend Cathy Walker, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Preceding Pam in death are her parents William and Marian Showalter, and brother James Showalter.

Her wish was to have an intimate family gathering therefore no public memorial service will be held. Memorial donations in Pamela’s memory may be directed to Kaya’s K9s (KK9S.org).
