William Patrick Field
March 19, 1965 – November 21, 2024

Patrick “Pat” Field, 59, passed away on November 21st, leaving behind a life filled with hard work, curiosity, and dedication to his family and interests. Born on March 19, 1965, Pat spent much of his career working in the technology field, including years with Microsoft, where his contributions reflected his passion for innovation and problem-solving.

Patrick loved cars, particularly Fords, and could often be found working on projects in his garage. He had a lifelong interest in computers, electronics, and finding creative ways to make things work. He also enjoyed spending time at the bay, surrounded by the natural beauty that brought him peace.  He had a fondness for nature and a love of animals, and adored his two dogs.

He is survived by his wife, Monica Lockhart; his children, Katelyn Skidmore, Zachary Field and Jacob Lockhart; his sister, Beth Hollis; and his niece and nephews, Trey, Lane, and Paige Hollis. Patrick was proud of his grandchildren, Makya, Wheeler, Landyn, Mariah and Lucy.  He is also survived by cousins and extended family members.

Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, Loretta Ayers Field and Hardy Lane Field.

A service to honor Patrick’s life will be held on December 8^th, 2024 at 10am at 1040 Hampshire Ln, Richardson, TX 75080. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you please consider making a donation to VFW Post 8627.
