James E. Smith, Age:77
James E. Smith, 77, passed away on October 12, 2024. Born on October 9, 1947, James spent the later part of his career as the manager of the meat market at Kroger. His dedication and strong work ethic left a lasting impression on his colleagues and customers.
Outside of work, James always looked forward to catching the biggest fish and enjoyed spending time singing karaoke. These hobbies brought him joy and relaxation throughout his life.
James was a kind-hearted, generous man who never knew a stranger. He formed lasting friendships wherever he went and had a special gift for making people laugh. His humor, warmth, and welcoming nature touched the lives of everyone he met.
James is survived by his wife, Debbie Smith, and his ex wife Irena Smith and his six children: Khristina Boatwright, Leslie Beasley, Ana Kelley, James Smith, Patrick Smith, and Alex Smith. His family, friends, and all who knew him will miss his kind heart, sense of humor, and uplifting spirit.
