April 16, 1973 -- September 19, 2024

Billy Ray Uselton, Jr, Age:51

On September 19, 2024, Billy Ray Uselton Jr. gained his angel wings.  Billy was born on April 16, 1973, in Ft. Smith, Arkansas to Billy Ray Sr. and Velva Parks Uselton.  His mother inspired his sense of humor and his love of people, while his father taught him to love hunting and fishing.  Billy held great respect for both the land and the animals.  He had a mechanic's mind and learned to take apart broken lawnmowers to make one working mower, which he then used to earn extra money.  He graduated from Vian High School in 1992 and attended Vo Tech in Muskogee, Oklahoma where he graduated with a welding certificate.  He befriended anybody that came his way and would lend a helping hand no matter if you were family, friend or stranger.

He was married twice to the love of his life, Darcy, once in 1994 and again in 2016, and was the proud dad of Jessica Raigoza.  With Darcy he experienced his first plane ride and memorable trips to Disney, Las Vegas, and Nashville.  His in-laws loved him and gave him a series of nicknames starting with hillbilly boyfriend, then hillbilly husband, cousin Billy, Macguyver, hillbilly Macguyver, Professor, and ultimately Professor Hillbilly (P.H.) Macguyver.  His most beloved title though was that of dog whisperer.  His passion was hunting, fishing, fixing things, and loving his family which included the dogs: Fred, George, Ramona, Percy, King, Doober, and Buzz.  He owned his own business: Uselton Handyman Services where he was a jack of all trades and master of welding, carpentry and befriending of all the dogs.

He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Ray Uselton, Sr., his father-in-law, Gary Bratcher, and several aunts and uncles.  He is survived by his wife, Darcy Uselton, mother Velva Sue Uselton, brother Frederick Uselton, daughter Jessica Raigoza, and a host of beloved relatives and friends.
