Dana Leona Hamlet, Age:61

Dana Leona Hamlet, beloved mother, grandmother and sister, passed away unexpectedly on August 18, 2024, in Dallas, TX. She was 61. Her family is deeply saddened by her sudden death.

Dana was born in Henderson, TX on June 26, 1963, to Bobbie “Argie Lee” Hamlet and Leon E. Hamlet. She was the oldest of three daughters. She grew up surrounded by many family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, an angel grandbaby and various other family members.

She is survived by her children, son Sam Hamlet and his wife Kendale Hamlet of Mesquite, TX, daughter Shanna Hamlet of Dallas, TX; Grandchildren Nia, Keadon, Dwight, Jaxtyn and Aaron; sister Bobbie Tucker and husband Mark Tucker of Tyler, TX; sister Clara Hamlet and partner James Hull of Jacksonville, TX; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard but always near, still loved, still missed and held so dear. We love you Dana and will hold your memory in our hearts.
