Carl Pyron, born on April 16, 1939, in Lancaster, Texas, to Vance and Annie Pyron, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. A proud graduate of SMU with a degree in electrical engineering, Carl's passion for baseball saw him excel as a varsity outfielder through high school and college. His distinguished career with the Federal Communications Commission saw him rise to Director of the Eastern Division, where he notably developed pioneering software for the FCC Information Center. Retiring in 1999, Carl's melodic tenor voice graced the church choir from his teenage years and throughout his life, and he found great joy in teaching and mentoring teenagers at church.
