I was one of his friends from the Garland Cafe breakfast club and the Friday night "old geezer gang" for cake that Cathy would make for the group. Mark was the only one in the group that I could have a conversation with about a multitude of science and engineering subjects. He told me about some of his adventures in his motorcycle rides and racing days. His bicycle outside the cafe was an icon along with his flaming pants he wore frequently. I will miss his friendship and conversations. If I don't see again in this world, I'll see you in the next one and don't be late.
