Larry Austin, Age:65
Larry Dean Austin of Denton, Texas passed away Thursday, May 9th, 2024 at Cottonwood
Nursing Home in Denton, Texas at the age of 65 years old. He was born in Iowa on May 24th,
1958, son of Vivian and Gene Austin.
Larry loved to fly! He was a jack of all trades and could do anything he put his mind to. He
enjoyed his family.
Larry is survived by his daughter, Angela Skinner, brother, Tim Austin, sister, Sheri Austin,
sister-in-law, Debbie Goldsmith-Austin, nieces and nephews, Emily and Blake Schopper, Axxel,
Brantley, Austin, Rosalie, Aubry, Owen, Shawna Austin, Jayden, Justin, Jordyn, Zari and
grandchildren, Blake Skinner, Danika Skinner and Seth Austin.
Larry is welcomed to Heaven by his son, Christopher Austin, brother David “Butch” Austin,
brother Charlie Richard Pugh, brother Jerry Austin, father Gene Austin, Carl Pugh, Don
Middlebrooks and mother Vivian Middlebrooks.

Although, we did not live in same state as we were growing up, I had hoped what I did for him when he came to Texas prolonged his life. All the problems he went through with Brain Tumor. Unbelievably made it to 65. Just so you know your baby sis loved you dearly. Starting to wonder if I am the only one left, Tim Austin, if you have not also met your maker it's time for us to bond together and mourn the rest of our family.. " Hainy" which is Larry nick name . I made mom's tacos today,glue,and all sending some to heaven for mom and my brothers. I love you Larry.
