DeEtte Hasty passed away n March 14,2024 in Frisco, TX, where she had lived for almost 3 years. Born on May 29,1939 in Detroit, MI, to Howard and Marian Kissane, DeEtte spent her years growing up in Grosse Pointe, MI. DeEtte graduated from Grosse Pointe High in 1957. Their little family loved to fish, swim and boat on the beautiful lakes in Michigan.

On April 21, 1962, DeEtte married Rodger Hasty. They were married for 55 years. They had 2 children and 5 grandchildren. DeEtte spent many years raising her children before she returned to work in the mid 1980’s. DeEtte, Rodger, Diana and Mark loved traveling to various historical sites in the US.

In their retirement, DeEtte and Rodger, moved to Dacula, GA to live near their daughter, son-in-law and their 3 children, where they lived for 18 wonderful years while building wonderful memories with their family.

In 2021, DeEtte moved to Texas where she lived near her son, daughter-in-law and 2 grandchildren.

DeEtte’s life was rich with hobbies. She loved gardening,crafts, quilting, reading and spending time with her family and friends.

DeEtte’s memory will be cherished and kept alive by her daughter, Diana, son-in-law, Chris, their children, Austin, Danielle and Gianna, son, Mark, daughter-in-law, Laura, their children, Ethan and Claire.

A Celebration of Life will be held, Friday, May 10th @9:00 am @the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. A luncheon to follow.
