Richard Shilling, Age:60
Richard Dean Shilling (Rick) passed away on January 18th, 2024. He was born March 27th, 1963, to Gerald and Ingeborg Shilling. Rick grew up in Lawton, Oklahoma with six siblings and attended Eisenhower High School. He would later move to Dallas, Texas where he enjoyed the Texas lakes and the Brazos River, camping, tubing, boating and riding jet skis. He owned and managed Shilling’s & Rick’s Pest Control. Rick lived in the North Dallas area since 1986.
Rick is survived by Sisters, Kim Ford (husband Ted), Angela Stutes (husband Bob), Brothers, Kenneth Shilling (wife Kay), Mike Shilling and Douglas Shilling. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald E, and Ingeborg E. Shilling.
The family will celebrate Rick’s life this spring at the Wildlife Refuge, in Lawton Oklahoma and later in Colorado where he planned to travel during his retirement. Rick is gone far too soon and will be missed by all his family.

I was so shocked by the news of Rick’s passing. He serviced our Chick-Fil-A on the 1/16/24. We talked and sent him off with a cup of coffee. He was the best service man we could have ever asked for. I knew him for 15 years in the service industry and he was the most respected man in the business!

I’m so very sorry to hear about Rick Passing! He worked with Me & For Me in The 80’s & Early 90’s. Since We have continued to work in the same Industry for Many Years, it was always a pleasure to get to see him every so often & reminisce..He was always One of The Good Guy’s..He’ll be Missed by Many…It was An Honor to Have Known Him & Called Him a Friend.
