Gerald Casemiro, Age:75

On the evening of December 31, 2023, Jerry Casemiro lost his valiant battle against lung cancer
in Plano, Texas at the age of 75. Born in Fall River, Massachusetts on November 9, 1948 to Emily
(Viveiros) and Virgil Casemiro, Jerry served in the US Army, graduated from the University of
Massachusetts, Amherst before leaving for Oklahoma to start a career in sales, a career that
took him across the United States. In the course of his business travels, Jerry discovered an
affection for Plano, Texas, where he met his beloved late wife, Marilyn Frantz in 1985 and
remained ever since.

A life-long lover of rock-and roll with an impressive record collecWon, Jerry also had a taste for
collecting red wine and playing a round of golf. Cursed/blessed with an unorthodox golf swing,
of which others took notice, Jerry racked up three Hole-In-Ones across his career – yes, there
were witnesses - and in 2014 was the top-ranking golfer in his league.
Jerry is survived by stepdaughters Stephanie Bazik and Laura Wilkerson, nephews Eryk and
Trevor Casemiro, and dear family friend Lea Ann Ross. No service is planned at this time per his
wishes.
