Dear Earlene, Janet, Linda, and Renee; I happened to be wishing Bob a happy birthday on facebook today and saw a few RIP messages on his facebook page from last summer. Somehow, I missed his passing. David and I wanted to reach out and share our condolences. Bob was one of the most kind and friendly of the men in our office in Evanston. In our early days, he provided the kind of wonderful leadership and mentorship we all needed and we enjoyed his company immensely. Earlene, I even visited your home in Tulsa years later for dinner one night as I was traveling there on IBM business. That would have been late 1980s, I believe. He was very proud of his 3 daughters and we always laughed at the “clump” of your ages! In any event, we are sending all of you our love and fond remembrances. I’ll post Bob’s obit in a place where our old Evanston friends will see it. David and Kim
