Cary “ Skip” Sheldon was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.  He suddenly passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at the age of 71. 

Skip was born the oldest of eight children to Frances and Robert Sheldon in Wallace, ID on January 2, 1952. He worked in the security business for 20+ years before retiring in 2004. 

As a young child, Skip’s family moved to Spokane, WA, however his wandering spirit lead him to sunny California. It’s in California where he met his wife, Tana Sheldon, in 1982 and were married in Reno, Nevada on January 24th, 1986.

He was preceded in death by his parents Frances and Robert Sheldon, brothers Martin and Michael Sheldon, and sisters Terri Roche and Diana Sheldon. 

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Tana Sheldon, his children Bernice Sarille, Norma Wilson (Andrew Wilson), Cassandra Glasco (Jerrod Glasco), his sisters Sandi Beach (David Beach) and Sheri Coons, and his brother Edward Sheldon.  He was the proud papa of 15 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and many other beloved family members and friends.

A “Celebration of Life & Memorial Services” will be held in Sacramento, California at a date and time to be determined.
