Barbara, who also went by the nickname Bonnie, was born Dec. 30, 1942 in Cleveland Ohio the oldest of four daughters. Bonnie enjoyed growing up with close family ties as part of an ethnic Hungarian community. She loved working in the garden and could make anything grow. She enjoyed fishing trips with family and friends.

Graduating from Rocky River High School in 1960 Bonnie then attended Miami University in Oxford Ohio. An excellent art student she was creative, passionate and task oriented.

Bonnie held a number of jobs focusing in the creative arts: oil painting, accessory merchandising, interior styling and jewelry making. She also spent happy years at Table Togs designing placemats, napkins and other linens for the company. She was a creative person who derived so much pleasure from making things beautiful.

Bonnie loved her family passionately and that love poured over to her many girlfriends. She was always looking to have fun, read the next novel, meet with friends, grow her flowers or shop the stores for treasures. She was kind and loving, a true peacemaker and a source of positivity. A sender of holiday and birthday cards, she never missed an opportunity to let someone know they were loved. She was always at the end of the phone, ready to talk and listen.
