Martin “Mardi” Francis Coleman III, age 63, passed away peacefully in his home on December 10^th.

Martin was born in Miami, FL on May 28, 1958.  Martin was a well-known DJ in Houston and Dallas from the 1980’s through 1998.  He played in many establishments both in Houston and Dallas. He also performed in various states as a guest DJ.  He also worked for Southwest Airlines and retired from the airline where he began as a call center customer service agent and finishing his career as a web-based training developer.  After retiring, he went on to obtain a degree in video and film editing.  After which he became a web-based training developer for the AVO Training Institute until 2020.

Martin is preceded in death by his father Martin Francis Coleman Jr. and his mother Shirley Marion Coleman.

He leaves his husband Ronnie McCarty, brother Gordan Arabian and sister Sharon Marder.

A celebration of Martin’s life will be announced at a later date.
