James M Marrinan, age 75, passed away peacefully at his home in Lewisville, Texas.

 

Jim was born January 25, 1946 in Brooklyn, New York.  After school he joined the Army and went on to do two tours in Viet Nam.  His first tour he was an infantryman and his second tour he was a door gunner on a Huey helicopter.   He received several medals for his heroic and honorable service.  After the service he went to work for American Airlines and relocated to Lewisville, Texas.  Jim loved riding his Harley Davidson and playing golf with his buddies.

 

Jim is preceded in death by his father James Marrinan, mother Dorothy Costello Marrinan, sister Cathy Marrinan, sister Mary Mallard and his late wife Geraldine Gotschall Marrinan.

 

He leaves wife Debra J. Marrinan, sister Judy Reardon/George, brother John Marrinan, brother Stephen Marrinan.  Nephews Mike Mallard/ Cora, Stephen Mallard and Ryan Reardon. Nieces Lesette Reardon and Susan Bruce.

 

Services will be held at the DFW National Cemetery on December 3 at 11:30 AM.  Donations can be made at American Diabetes Association.
