Brent Karl Henrich
Passed away with his loved ones by his side on September 25, 2021 in Allen, TX. Brent was born in Napolean, OH on February 25, 1941 to Richard and Annabelle Henrich. He joined the U.S. Navy in March 1962 and served 4 year in California and Hawaii. After the Navy, he worked for Radio Corporation of America and wrote the real time operating system for telemetry components of the Mariner Venus Spacecraft. The spacecraft successfully returned scientific data and photos of the plant Venus back to Earth. Later he worked for Control Data Corporation. During his time with Control Data, he managed two North American and seven European and Middle East I.T. centers. After leaving Control Data, he was a marketing manager for AMPEX Corporation, VP of Sales and Marketing for Thinking Machines Corporation in Houston, Texas and was over a Business Development Group for IBM in Ft. Worth, Texas. After he retired, Brent volunteered with SCORE of Ft Worth where he utilized his business expertise to help small business startups achieve their business dreams and help other established small businesses grow in size and revenue. He fought a long battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) which is a rare neurodegenerative disease. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Violet Kay Henrich, his two children, Todd Henrich and Anastasia Hudson, their spouses, Barbara Henrich and Sidney Hudson. His five grandchildren, Whitney Daniel, Emily Hudson, Alexander Henrich, Donovan Henrich, and Aaron Henrich and one great granddaughter Avery Daniel. Services will be held at 10am on Oct 19, 2021 at the Dallas/Ft Worth National Cemetery.
