Yvonne Carter, Age:76

Yvonne Louise Sangalli Carter, age 76, went to be with the Lord peacefully on September 26, 2021 at her home in Irving, TX.

Mrs. Carter was born June 16, 1945 in Texarkana, AR. She was preceded in death by her father Vence Sangalli, mother Yvette Sangalli, and sister-in-law Wanda Sangalli.

She is survived by her husband Dennis “Pat” Carter; daughter Laura Collins and husband Tony; daughter Amanda Carter; granddaughter Erika Jones and husband Marcus; grandson Isaac Moya, Jr. and wife Samantha; five great-grandchildren Aaliyah, Alan, Erin, Aryianna, and Isaac III; brother John David Sangalli and partner Mary Ellen Matthews; sister-in-law Tommie Jean Anderson and husband Marvin, sister-in-law Ann Michele Knight and husband Arley, and numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Carter enjoyed a career in banking, having worked at several banks over the years in Texarkana, Dallas and Irving.

Mrs. Carter was the life of the party and known for her jovial disposition. She was a nature lover and an avid crafter. She loved to create artwork for everyone close to her. She also enjoyed studying her Bible, dancing, swimming, bowling, and traveling. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family.

There will not be a funeral service. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Cancer Society are appreciated.

Remember Yvonne when you hear the song, “I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing”.
