Francis [Frank] Burton McIntyre age 91 of McKinney Texas passed away on April 14, 2021 at Medical City of McKinney.
Francis was born in Oswego NY on December 2,1929. He lived his early years in Sterling NY. He graduated from Hannibal High School Class 1948. Moved to Connecticut and worked for 32 years at Connecticut Light and Power (CL&P), He and his wife Maria Edda McIntyre lived in New Milford CT until they moved to McKinney Texas in 2005. He enjoyed working in the garden and doing small wood projects. For many years he went regularly to exercise at the Community Center gym and The Senior Recreational Center of McKinney where he enjoyed doing word puzzles. Francis was a caring and generous person with a great sense of humor and enjoying telling jokes. He will be sorely missed for everybody who knew him.
He was predeceased by his parents Silvester and Virginia McIntyre; brother Leland Mcintyre; sister Mary Goddard and daughter Suzanne Popke. He is survived by his wife Maria Edda McIntyre; his grandson Casey Popke CT, his brother Gerald McIntyre and wife Gladys and several nephews and nieces.
Services for Francis will be private and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date
