Warren Wesley Coomber, 58, was greeted in heaven on Jan. 29, 2021 by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ closely followed by his beautiful daughter Janelle, his father Ralph, and both sets of grandparents.  Warren was born and raised in Tacoma, WA with a rich Christian heritage. He grew up singing in church, at Northwest University in Kirkland, WA, and later across the country with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.  It was through the BGEA that he met his “lovely bride” Lori in 1987. They married in 1988 and started a family.  Warren was a proud and involved father. 

He shared his love of God and music with his children.  He had a song for everything and there was always music in the house. He demonstrated to his kids what faith was, what a loving husband was, and what a devoted (and fun) dad was. Warren put God first in everything he did and never wavered from his faith.  You could always hear Warren say “God is in charge, and I am not!” or “Others should feel better having met you.”

He will be remembered for being a man of integrity and great character, a character who lived to make others laugh, and a musical man who continually praised the Lord in song.  He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Lori, daughter Brittany (Scott) Hess and granddaughter MaryGrace, son Andrew, mother Elaine Coomber, sisters Rene (Richard) Knudson, Denise (Dennis) Kieffer, and many other relatives, friends, and colleagues.  A celebration of Warren’s life will be held Friday, April 30, 2021 at 2pm in the Faith Chapel at Prestonwood Baptist Church, Plano, TX.  A Gofundme account has been set up to help the family.
