On December 07, 2020 Linda Wheeler-Sifford, passed away after a short battle with cancer at the age of 66.
Linda was born on August 11, 1954 in Dallas, TX to William and Henrietta (Houston) Goss. Linda resided all her life in Texas. She was one of seven children and the most important thing in life was her family and friends.
Linda brought so much joy and love to this world. Anyone who met her would instantly fall in love with her gentle spirit and welcoming personality. She was one of the hardest workers you would ever meet, and she genuinely loved her job, so much so it became a hobby. She worked as a manager for a bingo hall for over 30 years. She spent most of those years working at Ridgewood Bingo in Garland, TX where she loved and poured into her co-workers as if they were family. When she was not working her favorite place to be was at home with her son. He was her entire world and she loved him more than anything. If she was with him, she was her happiest. She loved playing bingo on Friday nights, family game nights and the Dallas Cowboys.
Lou, as we liked to call her, lived a simple life. She worked hard and adored her family. Our world was always brighter when she was around.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father. She is survived by her son Sky (Alex) Wheeler, brothers Jerry (Tracey) Goss, Leslie (Angie) Goss, Billy (Zounda) Goss and sisters Judy (Lynn) Collins, Sinda Babb, Margaret (Eugene) Cantrell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
