Lesha Amelia De La Vega-Maia, 42, of Duncanville, TX, passed away on May 19, 2019. She was the beloved and only daughter born to Leo De La Vega and Sarah Wilson, on August 1,1976 in Dallas, TX.

She loved her cats, Parker and Dexter, all animals, nature, especially Fossil Rim and Possum Kingdom. Lesha also loved butterflies. 

Lesha is survived and will be dearly missed by her paternal grandmother Eustolia De La Vega, Bobbie A. Lewis, her maternal grandfather, Sarah Wilson, her mother, Leo De La Vega, her father, 5 brothers, 6 nephews, 2 nieces, 1 great nephew, and countless aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 

She was preceded in death by Marietta Lewis her maternal grandmother, Pedro De La Vega, her paternal grandfather and Sammy De La Vega, her uncle. 

A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, May 25, 2019 at The Knights of Columbus building, 2906 Rock Island Road, Irving, TX 75060 from 12-3:00 p.m.
