I’ve known Doug since we’re kids, our families were close friends. I remember us getting together at our homes for dinner and games. Doug has always had a kind heart and gentle spirit. The journey may have sent us in different directions but he always had a place in my heart.

It’s hard to believe my friend has passed away. Even though we did not talk every day as we did when he was my leader, I will truly miss talking to on holidays throughout the year. Doug was a great, sweet, smart, caring person and he will never be forgotten. My prayers and condolences to his family. Love always, as Doug called me “Anna Banana “ 💝🙏🏽

Prayers for peace and comfort for family and friends. I met Doug in the 3rd grade. He was so very sweet and funny. He was my first date in the 4th grade, my mom took us to a play at OC.

D - Words cannot express how much we love and miss you. The void left by your absence is deeply felt, and our hearts ache that we can no longer see your smiling face or hear your infectious laughter. You had a remarkable ability to bring joy and light to any room simply by walking in. Your easy-going nature and kind heart touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing you. You had a way of making people feel valued and loved, and your presence always brought comfort and warmth. Your genuine care for others was truly a gift, and we will forever cherish the memories of your compassion and generosity. Although we are heartbroken that you are no longer physically with us, your spirit lives on in our memories and the legacy of love you left behind. We will hold onto those precious memories. Thank you for being such an incredible uncle and for gracing our lives with your presence (& cool cars.) Your enthusiasm for life was inspiring, and it served as a reminder to embrace every moment and live life to the fullest. We love you, and you will be missed more than words can express. With love, Lauren, Kris, Chloe, Emmit & Blakey Foust

Dear friend Odessa , Texas

Douglas came to me through my daughter, Martha. She told me she had made friends with someone in school who should be working for me. She was so right. Years of wonderful camaraderie before Amex stole him away. Doug was smart and fun. 2 prerequisites for any relationship. I will always treasure his memory

Doug was a very special human being and I had the privilege of working with Doug for many years within American Express. Because we worked together so closely, we became great friends and shared many wonderful dinners, foreign trips, shopping experiences, etc. I will miss him dearly as he was smart, wickedly funny, caring, and just a great human being and I am grateful that we walked together for a good long while. And, as we called each other Fred and Ginger, I am signing this as Ginger.
