Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.

Betty was welcomed home February 4, 2023, at 88 years old, after a lengthy struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was born to Melva G. Gorden, in Dallas Texas, and raised through her childhood by Ethel and Elbert Sebring. Growing up in the depression era, early life was fraught with struggle. Things began to look up when she married her sweetheart, GW Johnson, at the age of 16, on Aug. 25, 1951. Shortly after wedded bliss, Betty found her calling. The Lord created her to be a mother, and she did that well, with all of her heart. Betty is survived by her 3 children: Michael Johnson (wife Shannon), Deborah Box, and Pamula Brundrett. Grandchildren: Brad Brundrett, Brandi Compton, Bobby Box, Jodi Crain and Amanda Johnson as well as 8 great- grandchildren.
