Frances Rose Feliz Gleason, 78, was born May 20, 1943 and passed away January 7, 2022 in Richardson, Texas where she lived with her daughter, Tiffany and son-in-law. Frances is survived by her brothers, Jimmy Feliz of Utah and Richard Feliz of Arizona, her daughter Tiffany Mathison of Texas and her son Trent Gleason of California. Frances is also survived by many cousins, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Frances is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Esperanza Feliz and her grandson, Steven Chavez.

Frances grew up in southern California. She enjoyed working for the California Department of Labor until retirement. After retirement, Frances enjoyed volunteering with the food pantry in her neighborhood and spending time reading her bible. After a short illness in 2013, she moved to Texas with her daughter and son-in-law. After arriving in Texas she reconnected with her grandchildren and enjoyed going to bingo and the casino with her daughter. Her greatest joy came with her great-grandsons Carter and then Landry. She enjoyed spending time playing trucks with Carter and chasing Landry in his walker.

Frances had a long, fulfilling life and will be missed dearly by those that knew her. We will all remember her cute quirks and giving nature for those in need. She is now with her heavenly father enjoying all the fresh squeezed lemonade she can drink.
