Johnny Don Adkisson, “Pop’s” passed away on Saturday January 02, 2021 at Harris Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 70.  He was born on October 17, 1950 to R.W. and Mildred Adkisson.  Johnny is survived by his two daughters. Teresa (Chris) Quinn of Lake Worth, Texas and Sharon (Troy Evans) Brown of Fort Worth, Texas and 5 grandchildren and one great grandchild; Anthony (Amy) Quinn and Emilee Harper Quinn; Cameron (Laura) Quinn; Kyle Brown, Gavin Adkisson and Kaiden Adkisson.  Johnny also is survived by his brother(s) Robert (Darlene) Adkisson; Jackie (Grace) Adkisson and Jimmy (Maudene) Adkisson & numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father R.W. Adkisson, mother Mildred Cleo Adkisson; brother Leroy Adkisson.

Johnny was a great man and a loving father who knew no strangers. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Everyone knew that if they were hungry, he would feed you and if you needed a place to stay or rest your head; it was known to go to “Pops” house.  He was not perfect but he loved everyone, never judged anyone and never let anyone go without. His generosity and love were never ending, he will be missed dearly by family and friends.
