Barbara was born on May 6, 1936 in Milwaukee, WI. She met the love of her life while dropping off a typewriter at a friend’s house. They were happily married for 32 years. Barbara was an active member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and St. Elizabeth’s Circle. She was involved in her Garden Club and Book Club with her friends. She loved sharing her large book collections and compassion of reading to all her children and grandchildren. Her passion and favorite group was as a volunteer for St. Vincent DePaul Society where she served for almost 20 years. She was an amazing chef and loved to cook and prepare meals for her friends and her parish. She loved to play games with her kids and grandkids and although she was learning a game for the first time somehow, she would always win – graciously. She loved her crossword puzzles and reading her newspaper every day. Barbara will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and faithful friend.

Memorial Mass will be at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church on Thursday, May 6th at 1 pm.
